Start the day with Yogyakarta for city tour. The first visit will be the Sultan’s Palace, also known as ‘Keraton’. Build between 1756 – 1790, Keraton is a fine example of traditional Javanese sultanate architecture. Proceed to visit the adjacent water temple Taman Sari. This addition to the royal complex was built over 200 years ago by the first Sultan with bathing pools for his harem.

After lunch at local restaurant, continue drive to Merapi Slopes for its fresh air and exceptional views. Continue the trip with an adventure sightseeing in a 4x4 vehicle through the forest, the visit remains of its last eruption in 2010, which currently well preserved as a tourist destination.
